We are always happy to share the interesting and deep history of Entiat.
We will miss Linda Olin, ECHS longtime member and hostess extraordinaire, who left this earthly plane this past August so very much. She moved to Entiat from Arkansas with her family when she was very young. Those early years were spent living in simple orchard housing on a large orchard along the Columbia River. She graduated from Entiat HS, and later became a beloved Teacher's Assistant and Art Instructor at Entiat Elementary. She loved her family and classmates and was a faithful friend. She was a reader, an artist, and a horse woman. She laughed easily and was always fun to talk to. Her life story will be a joy to learn and write more about in the near future as I look forward to hearing your memories, and sharing mutual fondness for a very special lady who touched lives and made Entiat a warm and welcoming home town.
LInda's Celebration of Life service will be on Saturday, Oct. 3 at the Entiat High School Gym at 1:00 PM.
We would also like to invite you to join us for a special reception to honor Linda at the museum the day after on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1:00 PM.
